Every residential participant in CAC’s Solar Programs must have an initial inspection (PreAudit) performed by a qualified assessor before any work is performed. In some instances, the auditor may identify conditions which will not allow work to be performed (Deferred Initial Inspection). Once the work has been completed the home must have a quality control inspection (Post-Audit) performed to insure all work is completed to standard. In some instances, a contractor fails to complete all required measures to standard. An additional Quality Control Inspection (Subsequent Inspection) is required to review the items which failed the initial Post-Audit. CAC may also request the Auditor compile the recommended measures into a scope of work (Work Order) using a standard template or online tool.
