Provide up to two utility/permit coordinators to prepare utility coordination documents, review plans for utility conflicts, work with utilities to clear the right of way for projects and coordinate compensable documents. Other duties will assist in utility permitting needs by providing review of permits and field visits for utility installations. This production position works at the direction of the UTL Lead-worker and TSS Supervisor under the responsible charge of WisDOT staff who oversee and approve all deliverables including compensable utility documents, invoices, USR signatures and utility permitting services. Functions will cover both Wisconsin Rapids and Rhinelander needs. Anticipated 36 - 40 hours per week. The coordinator(s) may be based in the consultant's office but may be required to report to either Wisconsin Rapids or Rhinelander to work with project staff, attend meetings or perform field inspections as needed.
