The District is seeking Materials specified in the RFP Documents from qualified and experienced publishing firms (“Firm” or “Firms”) that can provide physical education student textbooks, teacher’s manuals, digital resources, ancillary materials and professional development opportunities (the “Materials”). The proposals and the Materials submitted will be evaluated by the District’s evaluation committee. The evaluation committee will choose the Firm or Firms whose Materials will be field tested. Following field testing, the evaluation committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Education regarding which Firm or Firms should provide the Materials for these programs. The Board will make the final decision as to which Firm or Firms, if any, will supply the Materials. Multiple Firms may be awarded contracts for some or all of the Materials. Once the terms of a contract are negotiated and agreed upon by the District and the selected Firm or Firms, the contract or contracts will be presented to the Board of Education for approval.
