Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project is intended to modify the existing structure to accommodate a restaurant. Design West has prepared an evaluation of the existing structure which included 2 scenarios: 1) a remodel concept and 2) demolition & construction of a new building. The City Council has selected the remodel option as the preferred option for this project. Design West’s report is available for review by all interested parties. While the report includes potential design elements for a remodel concept, the final design and construction documents may vary from what is presented in the report. The existing structure consists of an unreinforced masonry building constructed on a concrete foundation. The building includes an 1,800 sqft basement and the 2,278 sqft main floor. In 2015 a new roof structure was constructed over the original truss roof system.
