Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a service provider to supply all necessary equipment, labor, aquatic algaecides, and adjuvants and to apply those aquatic algaecides and adjuvants to South Carolina water bodies. Contractor Requirements 1. The Contractor shall ensure it uses an appropriately licensed applicator at time of treatment. 2. The Contractor shall ensure it uses a minimum of two trained personnel at each site where boats are required. (one must be an appropriately licensed applicator). 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for all transportation, loading, and mixing of algaecides and for proper disposal of any wastes and containers. 4. The Contractor shall procure and maintain all necessary permits and licenses and obey all laws, regulations, ordinances, and rules applicable to the work performed. 5. The Contractor shall apply only those algaecides indicated in the bid proposals (unless otherwise authorized by the SCDES). 6. The SCDES will have the right to add additional aquatic algaecides to the contracted list each year as new products become available with new prices agreed upon by SCDES and the Contractor (pending approval and authorization by Change Order from the State Procurement Office)...
