Specifications include, but are not limited to: This request is needed for specialized water treatment testing and chemicals that DPW needs to reorder. The chemicals prevent corrision and hard water scaling in the cooling towers and chillers. These chemicals are needed for both employee safety and to prevent damage to the HVAC system. We need to process a P.O. to order the chemicals and testing, to prevent the HVAC system from shutting down. The water testing occurs monthly and the chemicals are added as needed. The watwer treatment is needed for the cooling season (April-October). The chemicals and testing that will be used every year will require a competitive solicitation, which will be completed in August of 2024.
