Specifications include, but are not limited to: Commissioning is intended to achieve the following specific objectives; this section specifies the Contractor's responsibilities for commissioning: 1. Verify that the work is installed in accordance with the Contract Documents, the manufacturer’s recommendations and instructions, and that it receives adequate operational checkout prior to startup: Startup reports are utilized to achieve this. 2. Verify and document that functional performance is in accordance with the Contract Documents: Functional Tests such as manufacturers startup reports, balancing, and site demonstrations executed by the contractor and witnessed by the Commissioning Authority are utilized to achieve this. 3. Verify that operation and maintenance manuals submitted to DHSS are complete: Detailed operation and maintenance (O&M) data submittals by Contractor are utilized to achieve this. 4. Verify that the DHSS’s operating personnel are adequately trained: Formal training conducted by Contractor is utilized to achieve this.
