Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide the purchase of trailer brakes, components, and services, for the City of Tucson's Fleet Division of the Environmental and Generals Services Department (EGSD), as well as for Tucson Water (TW) Department, on an as-needed basis. The City of Tucson is also seeking a Contractor to perform repair and service for a variety of trailers such as: utility, dump bed, drop deck and tilt bed trailers. C.1. Trailer Brakes and Components The Contractor shall provide the purchase of trailer brakes and components for the City of Tucson on an as needed basis. The City of Tucson is also seeking a Contractor to perform repair and service for variety of trailers such as, but not limited to: utility, dump bed, drop deck, and tilt bed trailers. Offerors may submit quotes for either parts and service, or parts or service. C.2. Parts A. The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying OEM-quality trailer brake parts and components for the City of Tucson on an as-needed basis. B. Contractor shall ensure that all parts and components meet or exceed OEM standards and specifications. C. Delivery is preferred. C.3. Repair and Service It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to A. Offer parts, repair and maintenance services for a variety of trailers, including but not limited to utility trailers, dump bed trailers, drop deck trailers, and tilt bed trailers. B. Perform thorough inspections of trailers/brake system to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs. C. Conduct trailer/brake system inspections, adjustments, and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety. D. Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic brake systems to diagnose and address malfunctions effectively. E. Repair or replace damaged or worn-out components, including but not limited to brake pads, drums, calipers, lines, actuators, springs, hitches, and any other essential trailer parts as necessary
