Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Assessments provided must include various item types that address English language proficiency in reading/language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science in the four (4) domains of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Students will be tested in an online, web-based testing platform; however, some students who require accommodations may need a paper version. The ELPT assessment will be online in the spring of 2025. It must work with various devices, such as a PC, Mac, iPad, Chromebook, Windows tablet, or other online devices available to schools. The assessments' results will be included in the Mississippi Statewide Accountability System; therefore, they must be legally defensible, valid, and reliable. Student results and reports will be understandable and uniform for districts, schools, teachers, parents, and other audiences. District and school reports will be delivered online, with one individual student report and student label being mailed to the districts, organized by school. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to be flexible to meet Mississippi requirements and timelines.
