Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Carolina Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) is soliciting bids from qualified firms perform garbage/refuse collection services at the DDSN Whitten Center location as outlined in the scope of work. The Agency is an independent agency in state government designated as the State's Intellectual Disability or Related Disability, Autism, and Head and Spinal Cord Injury or Similar Disabilities authority. The Agency’s mission is to assist people with disabilities and their families through choice in meeting needs, pursuing possibilities, and achieving life goals, and to minimize the occurrence and reduce the severity of disabilities through prevention. The Agency serves over 37,000 people with disabilities through local Disabilities and Special Needs Boards.
