Specifications include, but are not limited to: Howard County, Maryland, (the “County”) seeks a qualified, community-based organization (the “Contractor”) to furnish substance use prevention services. 2.1 The Contractor will identify one individual as the Program Manager to collaborate with the HCHD Prevention Team; however, in the case of termination, resignation, or long-term illness, the Contractor will be responsible for continuing required services. 2.2 The Contractor shall develop and coordinate the implementation of a full continuum of substance use prevention services including promotion of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) campaigns, SAMHSA Health Observances, and other SPF activities designated by HCHD Prevention Coordinator. 2.3 The Contractor shall prepare a yearly budget and grant proposal for submission to the County. 2.4 The Contractor shall attend and participate in meetings as designated by the County or MDH. 2.5 The Contractor shall develop and coordinate other community-based coalitions, committees, focus groups, etc., as needed for the purpose of enhancing the County's continuum of prevention services. 2.6 The Contractor shall prepare and submit reports as required by the County and/or MDH. 2.7 The Contractor must provide at least 20 hours a week of prevention related efforts. 2.8 In-person facilitated initiatives are required...
