Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contract shall install the mulch such that the mulch shall be uniformly applied using Express Blower or other equipment of the same or better capacity and speed. B. Mulch shall be double ground, black or brown color enhanced, virgin bark. Mulch shall be free of weeds, weed seed, and insects. Bidder will provide a sample of mulch no later than December 1st of each contract year. Sample shall be delivered and approved by the Street Department at 620 W. Main Street Murfreesboro TN 37129. Mulch made with construction waste will not be accepted (e.g. shredded pallets). C. Truck capacity shall be a minimum of thirty (30) cubic yards. D. Blower unit shall have the capacity to blow a minimum of 10 cubic yards per hour.
