HOC seeks to enter into a contract with a General Contractor (hereinafter “Contractor”) to construct Sandy Spring Missing Middle, including all site related work, in Montgomery County, MD. Before commencement of any work, the selected Contractor must furnish HOC with payment and performance bond documents and certificates for any required insurance at no additional cost to HOC. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and permits necessary to perform the work as set forth in the Request for Proposal, Scope of Work, and Construction Bid Documents. Upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and before commencing work, the Contractor shall visit the site to verify field conditions. Should variations arise between the field conditions and the construction documents, the Contractor must notify the Contract Administrator, in writing, of any discrepancies immediately. Any changes or additional work shall require a change order signed by HOC. Any changes or additional work done without the prior written consent of the Contract Administrator shall be at the Contractors’ risk.
