GEMA seeks a Contractor to provide transportation management emergency operational support services for emergency evacuations in support of a natural or man-made disaster. Operational portions of this contract are expected to be activated only during a Governor’s declaration of a State of Emergency. Operational support is being solicited for the State Operations Center and the operation of State Staging Areas (SSA). GEMA/HS may activate the operational portions of this contract to support a request from authorized local officials for evacuation assistance, to support a Governor ordered evacuation, or at the direction of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency Director or Deputy Director for Emergency Management. Planning, training, and exercise requirements exist outside of emergency operational support portions of this contract and contractor will be compensated based on actual and agreed upon participation in said planning, training, and exercise activities.
