Items to be laundered shall include but are not limited to: sheets (all sizes) blankets (all sizes) comforters (all sizes), pillowcases, towels (bath, hand, and kitchen), cleaning rags, and any other linens used in the operation of the Park. All soiled items shall be cleaned and returned to the park within one week. Contractor shall retuned linen in folded sets, preferably wrapped though not required. No markings or trade names other than the Office of State Parks shall appear on any wrapping materials. All linens shall be washed using a germicidal agent that combats staphylococcus. Contractor to invoice per pound according to dry weight of laundered linens delivered to the park. Contractor is to indicate on same invoice the total pounds of soiled linens picked up. Park will verify weight to certify payment to be paid by using park scales. Contractor shall provide a sufficient amount of laundry bags or appropriate sized storage containers to accommodate all soiled linens until pick-up by the contractor. All soiled items shall be cleaned and returned to the park within one week of pick-up date. This purchase order is contingent upon the appropriation of funds by the legislature. If the legislature fails to provide sufficient monies to provide for these goods and services at any point prior to delivery of goods or services, the State retains the right to terminate at any time without penalty. Vendor must supply certificate of insurance to enter park gates.
