Specifications include, but are not limited to: . Contractor will set up a site-specific, web-based Safety Data Sheets (SDS) management system using information provided by I-MCFSA. Desired software solution will permit instantaneous and reliable online access to the SDS library via multiple platforms, including laptop/desktop computers, smart phones, web browsers, and tablets. The selected webbased software solution will have the capability to easily search, print, refresh, back up, and create reports from the SDS library, as well as integrate into potential future systems which may be acquired by I-MCFSA, such as learning management and risk management systems. 21.2. Contractor will request from I-MCFSA the information required to implement the SDS system via email, which will include detailed information name for each material used and/or stored at the facility (i.e. the manufacturer and product.). 21.3. Contractor will work with I-MCFSA to obtain the requested information in the most efficient manner possible. I-MCFSA may add up to two user defined fields. 21.4. Contractor will contact product manufacturers to obtain the most current SDS for I-MCFSA materials. PDF images of the SDS will be accessible for viewing and printing on a web-based interface. 21.5. Contractor will enter SDS data including, but not limited to, the following fields: • Product Name • Manufacturer • CAS Number • Chemical Constituents • Constituent Percentage • Density • GHS Labeling Components (Pictogram & Signal Word) • Precautionary Codes (UN definition only and when provided on the SDS) • HMIS and NFPA ratings • Hazard Categories • Physical Properties • Pure/Mixture • Specific Gravity • State (solid, liquid or gas) • DOT Class • VOC Content
