Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is in the intent of the State of South Carolina, by and through its State Fiscal Accountability Authority, Office of State Procurement to solicit proposals on behalf of the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS). DAODAS is seeking evaluators that have expertise and experience in evaluating substance abuse prevention programs and strategies that confirm best practices to improve the health and safety of communities across the state of SC. Comprehensive evaluation of substance abuse prevention programs throughout South Carolina is important to ensure DAODAS is allocating public resources appropriately and outcomes are achieved throughout the state to lower risk factors and negative consequences in communities associated with alcohol, tobacco, prescription, and illegal drugs.
