Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall report to SHA Salisbury Shop upon request for pre-scheduled preventative maintenance service (twice per year), or service repair call. Preventative maintenance service shall be for the adjustment, balancing, lubrication, checking/testing of operation according to industry best standards and manufacturer recommendations. If repairs are found to be needed during the preventative maintenance service, the contractor shall notify the SHA representative to detail the extent of the repair and estimate the cost of repair. Vendor shall maintain and utilize a fully stocked work truck or van to be able to repair most common problems in one trip. This work truck must have the tools and equipment needed to make common repairs to overhead doors, openers, and related overhead door accessories and items. Vendor shall have been in the business of installing and repairing commercial overhead door systems for a minimum of 5 years. No work under this contract may be subcontracted out. Proof of insurance is required.
