Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Health Care Workforce Pathways Scholarship RFGA is to support an opportunity for Oregon’s secondary education, Career and Technical Education (CTE), training programs, and other health-related workforce programs for students between 8th -12th grade, to apply for grant funds to administer a scholarship program that will meet the health care workforce objectives set by the Oregon Health Policy Board, its Health Care Workforce Committee , and the Oregon Legislature. A primary focus will be on activities to support students and creating pathways for for behavioral/mental health improvement outcomes, that include but are not limited to: a. Supporting students as they complete a certificate, licensure, or other credentialing in the health care workforce, either in collaboration with CTE, school or other training programs/institutions leading up to or after graduation. b. Supporting students as they transition into college or other health care related field.
