Specifications include, but are not limited to: Area 1: Healing Relationships/Intergenerational Healing ● To increase access and build capacity for healing and community restoration. Scope of work may include but is not limited to: ○ Promote healing, behavioral health and trauma reduction ○ Anti-retaliation component ○ Strengthen treatment and healing services for survivors of violence ○ Improve cultural competence and support cultural identity of community members ○ Strengthen and preserve healthy relationships (i.e. intergenerational healing and restorative justice) ○ Mentorship (i.e. Elders Circle or similar model) Area 2: Wrap Around Services/Strength-focused Case Management ● To focus on youth’s inherent strengths, abilities, and potential to overcome challenges and achieve their goals; to concentrate on identifying and leveraging the positive attributes and resources of each young person. Scope of work may include but is not limited to: ○ Using intensive case management, developing goals, daily check-ins, referral navigation ○ Developing, tracking and implementation of Life Map Goals (i.e. What your goal is; When you want to reach it by; What you need to learn to reach your goal; What steps you can take to reach your goal; Who can help you reach it; What resources can help you reach your goal) ○ Daily check-ins ○ Referral navigation Area 3: Cultivate Economic Stability/Economic Justice ● To strengthen economic support for families. Scope of work may include but is not limited to: ○ Strengthen financial literacy understanding ○ Increase economic development and access to economic opportunity in core neighborhoods ○ Paid internship opportunities for impacted youth
