Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Colonial School District was issued Certificates of Necessity for district wide renovation projects to be funded over the next 5 years. Projects include Construction of an Athletic complex including stadiums and fields, playgrounds, parking facilities, roofing, and security enhancements. Additionally, Colonial has completed a districtwide facility assessment being used to generate ongoing maintenance projects. We are soliciting interested professional architectural and engineering firms to submit proposals to provide professional services for all phases of project work, including but not limited to Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration Services to meet all requirements of school construction as required State and County code and regulations. It is the intent of Colonial to make multiple awards based on the qualifications of the firms responding. Timing of the Certificate of Necessity projects is contingent on State of Delaware funding. Selected firms must have the ability to provide multiple services accurately and within an accelerated time scheduled, as well as work cooperatively with additional consultants providing services to the owner on projects.
