Specifications include, but are not limited to: REVERSE AUCTION BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR: Two (2) 2025, New and Unused, Tandem Axle Garbage Truck Refuse Chassis compatible for use and including with two Twenty (20) Cubic Yard Extra High Compaction Rear Loader Bodies. Specification restrictions have been approved by the Board of Supervisors. Due to past mechanical problems, truck bids with International Engines will not be accepted and Freightliner M2 truck bids will not be considered. The lowest and best bid price will be determined based on the reverse auction bid price, net of the buyback amount. The buyback amount on the truck chassis and specifications listing are to be submitted in a separate written sealed bid, without equipment bid price, delivered to the address listed above on or before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
