Specifications include, but are not limited to: CONTROL SEQUENCES A. Variable Air Volume (VAV) Terminal Boxes: 1. Provide with hot water reheat. 2. Provide with new control valves at unit. Units at the end of each piping loop shall be equipped with 3-way control valves. All others shall be equipped with 2-way control valves. 3. New thermostats shall be located in each zone as shown on plans. 4. Single duct VAV boxes to reduce primary air to 50% before heating. Parallel fanpowered VAV boxes to reduce primary air to 50% before fan starts. B. Air Handling Units: 1. Variable airflow minimum and maximum listed on air handling unit schedules. Minimum airflow is to match ventilation (outside air) maximum. 2. Negative pressure relief in existing duct is to be reused. 3. Chilled Water Cooling Coils – Provide freeze stats and temperature gauges for entering and leaving water. 3-way valve to be installed at unit. 4. Electric Pre-Heat to be installed for entering air. Provide with SCR control. 5. Provide 100% economizer capability with enthalpy control. In cooling mode, when the enthalpy of the outside air is less that the enthalpy of the return air, the economizer shall be enabled. The outdoor air damper and return air damper shall operate accordingly. Economizer airflow to be 80% of maximum supply airflow. 6. Air Handling Units shall utilize demand controlled ventilation including “Occupied/Unoccupied” Schedule. A Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor shall be mounted in the return section of each unit. a. Occupied (Min) – 10% Outside Air
