Specifications include, but are not limited to: TARC seeks proposals from highly reputable and experienced firms for its transit advertising program and services, to market, sell, secure, manage advertising contracts, and provide customer service for rental spaces on TARC’s fleet of buses, and paratransit vehicles. The successful bidder will receive an inventory list of vehicles and panels for advertising; this listing will include dimensions for the various formats. Additionally, firms are encouraged to submit revenue generating solutions for TARC’s bus shelters and TARC’s new on-bus digitals Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) (expected to debut in the first quarter of 2025). Currently, TARC sells advertising on approximately 400 panels on TARC bus shelters and expects to sell advertising on the on-bus PIDS once that system is operational (expected to debut in early 2025). However, a strong proposal that maximizes both revenue and TARC’s ability to promote TARC services could persuade TARC to include bus shelter and PIDS advertising as part of the on-bus advertising contract. It is TARC’s intention to continue to generate additional revenue through transit advertising and to maximize the advertising revenue paid to TARC, which will assist the agency to offset costs associated with the provision of public transit service. The offered services shall not deviate from these specifications, unless such changes are authorized by TARC, refer to Section 3 of this solicitation
