Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must be LEA Licensed to do this work. Technician must have LEA license prior to bidding. Provide County monitoring services through a local Central Station (Central Station Monitoring) for Fire, Elevator, Duress buttons, and Security Monitoring. Awarded vendor will provide monitoring and alarm dispatching of the existing and new intrusion and fire alarm panels / communicators. The County is transitioning to Central Station owned phone lines, IP addresses and alarm receivers to monitor all points and to have complete control of adding/subtracting new alarm points to all accounts without having to get permission through the 3rd party company. The awarded vendor will be a necessary partner in this transition process. While the County is seeking a 3rd party to be the bridge between client and vendor through a local monitoring company, the County also wants the ability to manipulate and make changes to the Washington County Monitoring database. The County must have the option to transition services during this contract period on a building by building or service by service basis. Email notification of the timeline for disconnection will be provided and at least 30 days’ notice will be given. Contractor to provide all required testing devices to complete service(s) requested by Contract Administrator.
