Specifications include, but are not limited to: Encantado Road in the Eldorado Community is considered a priority for reconstruction due to the high level of disintegration apparent in the last few years, and the aggregate surface has become fully contaminated with natural ground, causing excessive mud. The County District Maintenance Foreman has identified this roadway as a continual maintenance issue and many residents have expressed concern about safe passage during inclement weather. Santa Fe County is seeking to reconstruct this roadway to eliminate such issues and produce a safe, useable roadway for residents, first responders, and commercial vehicles.
