Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this contract is to develop and maintain a service provider database that provides information on Community Agencies within the state of Utah. This information is accessible and easily located and shared with the General Public. These services are to remain free and the requester is to remain confidential. (1) maintain a statewide resource database to provide information and referral services for; (A) Community Health and Disaster; (B) childcare; (C) utilities; (D) senior services; (F) counseling; (G) food; (H) shelter; and (I) job services. 2) provide assessment of needs and referral to resources; (A) efficiently provide information to callers; (B) employ the necessary number of dedicated employees to answer the phones; (C) train and utilize established leadership within the agency to support the employees noted in B.2 training, coaching, quality monitoring, scheduling, and other activities that support the role of the information specialist and improve the phone system; and (D) evaluate a statistically Significant Sampling of all calls to measure the percentage of calls resulting in quality referrals. (3) assure high quality service; (A) ensure all contractor employees are trained on the software to make training more cohesive, reduce the amount of training from the center to center, and enable 2-1-1 to train more people offsite (necessary for disaster preparation); (B) invest in resources to secure channels of 2-1-1 access such as text, chat, and app access with all necessary updates; (C) monitor customer data and feedback including preferences of the customer; and
