Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate with partners such as NRCS, VT Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation, VT Department of Environmental Conservation River Management, Wetland, and Watershed Planning Programs, VT Agency of Agriculture, UVM Extension System, Consulting foresters and others as suggested by the RCPP coordinator for project development opportunities. 2. Conduct inventories of opportunities for practice implementation including alternative land uses and management. 3. Provide outreach to landowners to encourage participation in NRCS programs, leading to implementation of agricultural and forestry practices. This can be through direct one-on-one outreach, presentations at meetings, coordination with partners, and from NRCS. 4. Evaluate nutrient management plans (NMP), forest management plans, and conservation plans to identify practice implementation needs or data gaps. 5. Provide technical assistance to producers to support practice implementation and transition to different practices. 6. Promote, sign up and verify land rental practices. 7. Work as a project manager with the producer; a) assisting with practice design and implementation details (eg mapping, watershed delineation, material procurement, other tasks as needed to accelerate implementation); b) assisting the producer through application and sign-ups using the process required to enable implementation and payment; c) assisting with accessing additional financial resources as available (e.g. VHCB water quality grants, coordination of NRCS/AAFM resources), providing planning and implementation assistance, monitoring and assessment followup; d) assisting with project completion, monitoring and followup work as needed. e) Documenting project with before and after photos. 8. Provide input and feedback to RCPP coordinator to improve program processes and success. 9. Provide data to support required RCPP reporting.
