They determined this software to be the most effective solution to complete research goals in a timely manner. Since then, researchers have developed methodologies and workflows that require Abaqus' continued use. These methodologies and workflows cannot be used with competing products. Vias Academia LLC is the only academic distributor of the Simulia software.
