Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. C900-16 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pipe DR 18. C900-16 pipe shall conform to the following specifications: PVC pipe shall conform to AWWA C900-16, DR 18 (235 psi). The pipe shall have flexible rubber gasketed joints conforming to ASTM D3139 and ASTM F477. Pipe color shall be blue. B. Ductile Iron Fittings. Unless noted otherwise in the Bid Schedule, all fittings such as elbows, tees, crosses, valves, reducers, plugs, couplings, MJ adapter etc., shall have mechanical joints conforming to AWWA C111 and shall be short-bodied compact ductile iron fittings conforming to AWWA C153, Class 350. All ductile iron fittings shall have a cement-mortar lining that conforms to ANSI/AWWA C104-A21.4. All fittings shall be NSF 61 approved. All mechanical joint fittings shall be supplied with accessory packs, gaskets and pipe lubricant as necessary for the proper assembly of the connection. These gaskets and accessories shall be supplied as part of the base amount bid for the applicable fittings. All fittings shall be provided with an exterior fusion bonded epoxy coating in accordance with AWWA C116-22. All bolts and nuts shall be fluorocarbon coated for corrosion resistance. C. Ductile Iron Gate Valves. Gate valves shall conform to AWWA C509 or C515. Valves shall be designed for 200 psi minimum working pressure and shall be of iron body, resilient wedge, non‐rising stem construction. Valves shall be equipped with O‐ring type packing. The valve shall have a 2‐inch AWWA operating nut for buried service. Valves shall have mechanical joint connections, unless called for otherwise on the Bid Schedule. All valves shall be provided with an exterior fusion bonded epoxy coating in accordance with AWWA C116-22. Valves shall be resilient wedge, Kennedy KSRW or KSFW, M&H Style 4067 or 7000, Clow, or equal. D. Joint Restraints. Joint Restraints shall be MEGALUG Series 2000PV mechanical joint restraint system as manufactured by EBAA Iron, Inc., or approved equal. E. Fire Hydrants. Fire Hydrants shall conform to AWWA C502 and shall have 5‐1/4‐inch main valve opening, two 2‐1/2‐inch NST nozzles and one 4‐1/2‐inch NST pumper nozzle. Operating nut shall be 1‐1/2‐inch pentagon. Fire hydrants shall be Kennedy K‐81 Guardian, M&H Model 929, Clow, or equal. Fire hydrants shall be yellow
