Specifications include, but are not limited to: • ALL ITEMS WILL BE PAID BY THE LINE ITEM PRICE. • CONTRACTOR WILL REMOVE ALL TRASH AND DEBRIS DAILY, including asphalt debris in yards. • Cores have been sampled throughout, and markings are visible on the ground. Existing asphalt is 4”-4.5”. • For this project, the advance warning signs specified in Subsection 150.3.04 shall be portable signs. These signs shall be placed only during times that construction is in progress and/or as conditions warrant as directed by the Engineer. Signs shall be removed at all other times. Costs for all Traffic Control shall be included in the overall bid price. Any exceptions will be at the discretion of the Engineer. • Contractor and/or Subcontractor shall be responsible for all layouts. The costs for layout shall be included in the overall bid price. • Prior to commencement of work, Contractor shall submit to The City of Walnut Grove an asphalt job mix formula for each mix type and a haul plan for each road or group of roads. • All required testing shall be done by the Contractor and/or Subcontractor. Final payment will not be made until all tests results have been provided to The City of Walnut Grove or Representative. The costs of all testing shall be included in the overall bid price. • Variable depth milling is intended to restore the crown and level gutter of the roadway. o Final milling will reveal 0.5” below edge of concrete gutter except in low points, where milling should be level with edge of gutter. o Contractor should anticipate 0-1.5” being milled on the centerline. o Final cross-slope shall be between 1.5% and 4%. o All asphalt must be removed from concrete gutter prior to paving. • Bituminous Patching: 12.5 mm. o Bituminous Patching to be 2” placed material unless otherwise directed by engineer. o Bituminous patching to be evaluated and marked by contractor or engineer after variable depth milling • 9.5 MM topping must be feathered into gutter edge to eliminate lip at EP...
