West Laurens Middle School contains (2) four court tennis complexes separated by a building and sidewalks. The project includes demo of existing fencing in its entirety, demo of existing net posts and nets, complete milling of the existing asphalt courts (approximately 3.5” depth) including offsite haul off of millings, installation of a 12”x12” concrete curb around perimeter of (2) four court complexes, laser grading of existing stone base with minor rehabilitation of stone replacement (5 truckloads), compaction of existing stone to 98% standard proctor, installation of 2” 19mm asphalt binder course and 1.5” 9.5mm type II asphalt mix as top coat, installation of textured acrylic tennis court surfacing, installation of new chain link fencing in same configuration as existing, installation of new windscreen on perimeter fence, and installation of new net posts including footings and nets.
