Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. CONTRACTOR shall identify organizations in possession of Unclaimed Property. B. CONTRACTOR shall obtain prior written authorization from the STATE before conducting an examination. Specifically, CONTRACTOR shall provide the STATE with a list of Holders CONTRACTOR expects to examine. The STATE shall reply in writing within 30 calendar days and indicate whether CONTRACTOR is approved to act on behalf of the STATE. The STATE may, at its sole discretion, refuse to approve any request by the CONTRACTOR to examine any Holder on said list. The STATE may at any time, and in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate any work performed by CONTRACTOR. C. CONTRACTOR shall provide to the STATE a written summary of the opening conference showing how each of the requirements outlined in N.D.A.C. § 85-03-04-03 have been met. D. CONTRACTOR shall examine the records of Holders using Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), North Dakota laws and administrative rules, and any other professional means necessary to identify all unclaimed property assets of the Holder which are subject to the custody of STATE under N.D.C.C. ch. 47-30.2.
