Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking qualified landscape architecture, engineering and water feature design Firms to rehabilitate the Cannon Hill Park pond and landscape irrigation system. Pond Rehabilitation is intended to significantly reduce pond water consumption (due to existing leaking condition), improve pond water quality, and provide riparian habitat for local flora and fauna. The Firm will be required to engineer new bio-infiltration swale(s) to capture and treat stormwater from the right-of-way that currently flows to the pond. Landscape Irrigation design will include inventory, analysis, water meter consolidation and/or specification of new water meter(s) and service lateral, design of new water-efficient irrigation system, specification of weather-based control system, and irrigation schedule for initial system programming (based on system efficiency and site-specific evapotranspiration rates).
