Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this project is to replace all dry-side HVAC, VAV (Variable Air Volume) coil kits, 2 boilers, several pumps, the building controls system, install a new OSA (Outside Air) damper at the top floor of the mechanical shaft, re-configure the mechanical shaft to supply ventilation to each floor independently by installing 1 new AHU (Air Handling Unit) per floor, and demo existing wall-mounted under window terminal units including patching these wall areas to match the surroundings. Some of the pipe insulation and flooring contains small amounts of asbestos that will need to be abated prior to demo. Moving, furniture, and commissioning will be completed by County managed contracts.
