Enhancements to existing 2.0 MGD Water Treatment Facility. Major components include restoration of 2 each 1.0 MGD package filter units and associated controls with new filter media and associated internal components of each filter unit. Each filter unit will be converted from a Roberts system to a Trident system, manufactured by Westech Engineering, Inc.. All controls shall be upgraded as well. And existing blowers shall be replaced as well with new air piping. Work also includes repairing any interior coating failures in each filter. Note: the filter equipment package by Westech Engineering, Inc for the 2 each 1.0 MGD package filter units shall be furnished by the Authority and is already in storage at a facility near the Water Treatment Plant site.
