Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverables for this project include: ● A master plan, including a 5-year strategic plan with specific, actionable, and measurable goals and objectives defined. ● This plan should: o Include a SWOT analysis. o Evaluate and, if relevant, make recommended changes to the vision and mission statement for the Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations. o Determine any key performance metrics and data sets, reviewing industry best practices and analyzing MDMO’s position within the state. o Analyze the structure, funding authority and sustainability of MDMO. o Evaluate current presence, resources, identity and reputation to identify gaps, make recommendations and note opportunities. o Confirm MDMO’s role within the framework of Maryland’s tourism industry, and its unique value. Review existing and suggest partnership strategies for work with key industry players and organizations, at both the State and Federal level. o Provide guidelines for regular updates to organizational bylaws. ● Bylaw update and revision.
