Consultant to conduct a municipal buildings study which includes City Hall, the Justice Center building, the Parks and Recreation building, and Public Utilities Building office space. This is to assess whether we are utilizing the space effectively and meeting the needs of our departments which operate out of these facilities. This study should provide a written assessment of the current utilization of space and how to best modify operations or make building improvements for the most effective use of building resources for the public and staff, factoring in future operational plans and potential growth. It should also provide market cost estimates for any building improvements suggested. This includes, but may not be limited to, the following: Review and analyze current workspaces and flow. Identify any efficiency and cost-effective layout alterations that may provide space for storage and additional employees to possibly defer additional construction activity.
