Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal of existing tread surface, including existing rubberized surface; Trenching and excavation to remove existing roots that are impacting trail surfaceInstallation of a root barrier to avoid future root impacts; Widening of the trail tread surface as much as feasible; Assessment of and improvements to stormwater management; Repaving of the pathway and associated access aprons; Assessment + improvements at roadway crossing of ramps, ADA compliance, signage, and striping to meet or exceed industry standards as deemed necessaryDesign of a full lighting package, including best practices at intersections; Redesign of trail transition under Academy Street at Reedy View Drive utilizing existing sidewalk, roadway, and underpass; Assessment + design of industry best practices for trail striping, including assessment of need for user type separations as feasible
