Specifications include, but are not limited to: construct an 8-foot-wide minimum shared use path along Zimmerman Trail from Rimrock Road to Highway 3. It is a 2023 Transportation Alternatives (TA) funded project. The consultant will be required to provide the necessary professional engineering services for the project including (but not limited to) survey, multi-use path design with complete geotechnical analysis and storm drain design, signing and striping design as necessary, tie-in design on both ends of the path, potential right-of-way negotiation, prepare any required easements and/or right-of-way exhibits, prepare reports and submittal packages to MDT, perform environmental work for required reports and studies, coordinate design with permitting agencies, attend and be prepared to present design concepts and address the public, and perform bidding services and bid recommendation. Professional services that may be added by addendum include (but not limited to) construction inspection and administrative services, quality assurance testing services, and final project close-out.
