Specifications include, but are not limited to: This scope of services includes providing parts, maintenance, and repair services for the Town’s Drinking Water, Storm Drain, and Sanitary Sewer systems on a regular and on-call (outside business hours arriving within 4 hours) basis for the Public Works Department, under the Direction of the Public Works Director or the Town Engineer. These parts include items such as: pipes, couplings, flanged adapters, tapping sleeves, pipe restrainers, tools, repair clamps, service saddles, setters, valves, and other similar parts and supplies, as well as all types of fire hydrant and meter replacement parts from various manufacturers. A-1-a trench backfill, roadbase, asphaltic concrete, and Portland cement concrete must also be provided when needed. These maintenance and repair services include on-call (outside business hours arriving within 4 hours) services such as: cleaning and internal inspection (visual and camera) of manholes, cleanout boxes, and open-channel pipelines, and maintenance and repair of drinking water system valves, fire hydrants, and pipelines. Trenching excavation must also be provided when needed.
