Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms, agencies or individuals to provide services to develop and implement the City’s SLC Shop Local Initiative Organization and establish and maintain an organization that continue these efforts. The Initiative Organization is meant to establish a single point of contact for resources that foster the growth of independent, local, small businesses and non-profit organizations in Salt Lake City by providing them with essentials for promotion and community engagement while also educating the public on the importance of utilizing local establishments and buying local. The intended result of the Initiative Organization is for the City and the Contractor to work together for a period of time to establish the groundwork that the awardee will use to create a stand-alone entity to continue to assist local small businesses and non-profit organizations
