The City of Iola Parks and Cemeteries department will accept bids for the construction of replacing a low sloping flat roof on the south end of our Dr. John Silas Bass North Community Building located at 505 North Buckeye Street in Iola Kansas 66749. The current asphalt roof is in need of a remodel to prevent future leaks as well as an old window covering that is in need of repair with a more efficient covering. The bid should include the possibilities of 1. Cutting out a small roofing drain box and installing a larger one capable of a larger volume of water 2. Mechanically fasten any and all decking that needs replaced on said roofing area. 3. Install new 2x8’s to perimeter walls to possibly hang new drip cap and roof membrane from 4. Install new roofing system over the top of roof sheathing 5. Install any and all necessary flashings in areas such as walls, base, curb and stack flashings 6. Remove and replace current old window covering with new panel and trim 7. Clean job site and haul away all debris 8. Include all labor and material for the job being bid. 9. Include warranty
