Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Conduct the work in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Employ a well-structured approach to effectively identify risk, inspect internal processes and systems, and review internal controls. This may include performing audits of non-financial areas impacting the financial statements (e.g. information systems). 2. Flexibility to expand audit services when additional audit reports for new or existing entities are required during the contract period. 3. Attend audit planning meetings with the Board Finance Committee and audit delivery meetings with the Finance Committee to deliver the finalized audit reports and related communications. 4. Retain all audit workpapers at auditor’s expense, and make available upon request by CareOregon to meet any regulatory or compliance requirements for no less than five (5) years from the date of the audit report. In addition, the firm shall respond to the reasonable inquiries of successor auditors and allow successor auditors to review workpapers relating to matters of continuing accounting significance. 5. Support CareOregon through additional informal consultation services on financial reporting matters, including the adoption of new accounting standards or changes in regulatory requirements.
