Specifications include, but are not limited to: - Service fire discharge door to ensure that the door is self-closing, that the tracks, springs and/or rollers are cleaned and lubricated and that the fusible link is properly installed. Report any deficiencies to the site manager immediately. - Intake Doors be tested to ensure that they self-close and latch as designed and as required per code for fire-rated doors. Hydraulic closers and thumb-latches or T-handles should be checked for proper operation. Oil shaft/pivot bearing, latch assembly, and bushing at base of connector bar and grease inside of mechanism cover. Clean accumulated debris from back of lower angle frame. Additionally, lubricate the solenoid and roller switch components of the electric interlock system. Report any deficiencies to the site manager. - Check sprinkler heads in the chute to ensure that they have the proper sheet metal guards fully protecting the heads and that no debris is allowed to accumulate around the sprinkler heads. Report any deficiencies to the site manager.
