Specifications include, but are not limited to: support slow-pitch softball tournaments and leagues hosted by the City in the following ways: (1) sanction up to 10 annual tournaments, (2) sanction up to 3 annual leagues as selected by the City, (3) provide trained and certified umpires to officiate at tournament and league games, (4) provide “UICs” at tournament sites as requested by the City, (5) provide field owner’s insurance covering the City, (6) offer the City the rights to be the host location for additional tournaments sponsored by the applicant, (7) provide marketing efforts for the tournaments and leagues, (8) complete and share with the City a comprehensive national background and sex offender database check on all umpires annually, (9) Hold no less than two umpire recruitment and training sessions in St. George annually as requested by the City, and (10) promote all City tournaments and leagues that are sanctioned by the applicant, (11) provide other benefits as proposed by the applicant.
