Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fall Semester, Spring Semester and Summer Semester. The intern needs to complete two of the three sessions. Internships are 5-20 hours per week depending on the goals and availability of the student, working on live sets to prepare them for a career in film and television. All interns receive IMDb credit and work on projects that are broadcast on public broadcast channels or run the film festival circuit. Interns work on both in-studio projects and independent (on-location) film productions, ensuring they are well rounded and prepared for any work in the New Mexico Film Industry. This is done in two phases: a rotation program and a professional program. Each program completes 180 hours of hands-on training There are two types of Internships; Production and Acting. Each Semester’s tuition cost is $2,700 per student.
