Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide actuarial consulting services to OMPP. The Contractor shall provide both technical Actuarial Services and strategic consulting services related to the development of analytical models necessary to fulfill the service categories established in the scope of work. It is crucial that the Contractor shall be able to provide Actuarial Services based on current actuarial practices employed by other State Medicaid programs and private insurance companies, as well as insights based on the unique characteristics of the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP), available claims data, and relevant Medicare and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) expertise. The programs supported by the Contractor may include, but are not limited to, fee-for-service (FFS) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver services, FFS long term institutional care, and managed care (MC) programs such as the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), Hoosier Care Connect (HCC), Hoosier Healthwise (HHW), and Indiana PathWays for Aging (PathWays).
