Specifications include, but are not limited to: replace the current outdated Monthly Operating Reports System (MORS) by implementing a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) Web-based system with a customer-facing portal for our regulated community to collect laboratory data and operational data from contracted plant and public water supply systems and treatment facility users. The proposed system must be able to handle the data entry, receipt, and data retention of information generated by plant and facility operators and users. The system must provide reports on demand and be capable of supporting data retention schedules. Key objectives to accomplish: Improved compliance management efforts and data integrity Support documentation requirements based on federal and state standards. Improved reporting capabilities including emailing feature. Improved communication and document flow between the water systems personnel and DWI inspectors.
