Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Facilitated Professional Learning Series: Offer a series of short (1-4 hour) virtual, inperson, or hybrid professional learning sessions for PK-12 educators and leaders. This shall include targeted learning opportunities for SU/SD administration and leadership, early education educators, elementary educators, and adolescent educators. All educators and education leaders shall have access to the learning series and accompanying materials. 2. Literacy Learning Network: Establish and support a network of leaders and educators engaged in facilitated learning series. The bidder shall propose a statewide Professional Learning Community or other community of practice to encourage and elevate learning and sharing among peers across the state. 3. Job-Embedded Coaching: Provide intensive and personalized job-embedded coaching for elementary schools (K-3) in six to twelve Vermont SU/SD and/or schools over at least one year. The AOE will identify schools for participation based on highest need and an application process. Specific responsibilities and requirements include: a. Coaching in classrooms: Deliver in-depth and hands-on coaching following the I do, we do, you do model to support educators as they learn to apply evidencebased literacy practices. This involves modeling effective instruction, coteaching, and providing real-time feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness and engagement. b. Leadership Support: Provide targeted coaching for district and school leadership teams to establish and maintain systems and structures that support sustainable literacy improvements.
